Harm Reduction Transitional Housing

This program acts as a recovery-centered safety net, designed to help you stay retained in stable housing even when navigating difficult life disruptions.

Critical Policy Notice

We do not provide, permit, or facilitate safe injection or active on-site substance consumption of any kind. This program is designed to help adults stabilize their lives through uncompromising safety boundaries.

We strictly enforce a mandatory 10:00 PM daily curfew and a strict zero on-site visitor policy with no exceptions to ensure a secure, orderly, and law-abiding environment for all.

Choosing Your Path

Sober Living
VS
Harm Reduction Housing

To help you or your family member make an informed decision, it is important to understand the fundamental differences in daily expectations, rules, and recovery structures between our two adult residential pathways.

While both tracks prioritize accountability and personal growth, they serve different stages of a person's journey to stability.

A structured environment focused on continuous abstinence, peer accountability, and reintegration into independent living.

This path is ideal for those who have completed treatment and are committed to a zero-tolerance recovery lifestyle.

Designed for individuals who may still be managing substance use but require stable, safe housing to maintain health and safety.

The primary goal is retention and stabilization through safety boundaries rather than immediate abstinence.

  • We assist with the coordination and safety of individuals choosing a non-medical detox journey within our walls.
  • Our staff helps monitor Medication-Assisted Treatment schedules covering vital options like methadone or buprenorphine to keep your recovery path consistent and your living space calm.
  • In the event of a health emergency, call 911 immediately.
  • Your wellness is the cornerstone of your journey here.
  • This information is for general education only and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always speak with a qualified healthcare provider before starting, changing, or stopping any medication or detox plan.

Whichever track you apply for, you are choosing a community built on dignity, safety, and a higher standard of personal responsibility.

Both pathways enforce the exact same rigorous daily curfews, housekeeping requirements, and daylight productivity tracks to ensure a structured, law-abiding environment designed to help you reclaim your future.

Community Standards

Program Rules

These guidelines are essential to keeping our home safe, orderly, and supportive for everyone.

By following these community standards, we ensure that every resident and family can focus on their personal growth and stability in a secure environment.

  • Housing First Principles: We believe stable housing is a human right and the foundation for all health recovery.
  • Non-Judgmental Care: Residents are met where they are at without shame, fear of eviction, or forced treatment mandates.
  • Open Dialogue: Honest communication with case managers regarding substance use is encouraged to ensure your safety.
  • Individualized Goals: Support plans are tailored entirely to your personal definition of wellness and harm reduction.

Our Approach to Housing & Wellness

Tenant Responsibilities & Boundaries

  • Private Space Discretion: Zero Policy for active drug use in personal unit or program premises. Substance use is restricted to outside of premises property.
  • Common Area Safety: All shared community spaces, hallways, and lobbies must remain strictly substance-free.
  • No Commercial Activity: Trafficking, manufacturing, or selling illicit substances on the property results in immediate legal review and discharge from program.
  • Safe Supply Management: Personal harm reduction supplies must be stored securely and disposed of using provided biohazard bins.
  • Zero Tolerance for Violence and Abuse: Any verbal abuse, swearing, physical aggression, or threats directed at staff, residents, or neighbours will result in immediate program review and potential discharge.
  • Guest Accountability: Strict No Visitors Allowed On Premises Policy; all meetings with guests must occur off-site.
  • Property Respect: We have zero tolerance for property damage; residents are financially responsible for all repair costs, and violations may result in program discharge.
  • Quiet Hours Compliance: Respecting building noise levels to support the well-being and privacy of our residential community.

Building Safety & Community Living

On-Site Support & Emergency Resources

  • Overdose Prevention Support: On-site staff are trained in first aid, CPR, and Naloxone administration.
  • Anonymous Supply Access: Sterile harm reduction equipment, drug-checking resources, and Naloxone kits are available on site.
  • Collaborative Check-Ins: Standard wellness checks are conducted to support tenant health while respecting privacy.
  • Continuum of Care: Seamless, voluntary referrals to medical detox, safe consumption sites, opioid agonist therapy (OAT), and counseling.
